Our brilliant brekkie menu is packed full of scrumptious morning dishes that are guaranteed to set you up for the day. Enjoy delicious pancake stacks accompanied by a range of tasty toppings, including seasonal berries and wildflower honey, or why not try our extremely popular ‘Full Yorkshire’? Our star take on the ‘Full English’ that comprises award-winning sausages, smoked backed bacon and field mushrooms, all cooked to your liking.
Remember to order a proper Yorkshire tea to complement your breakfast feast or try a cup of our divine, freshly brewed Uganda Kisinga coffee.
All Day Menu
Celebrating Yorkshire’s quintessential produce and dreamed up by Michelin-starred Chef Patron Andrew Pern, our All Day Menu is packed full of exquisitely crafted seasonal dishes brimming with the freshest and finest ingredients.
Starters include a succulent Salt-Aged Yorkshire Beef ‘Tartare’ served with Gherkin Relish, Smoked Bacon & Fried Bread Sprinkles, Parsnip Crisps and Mulled Wine Syrup, or why not pick up your knife and fork and treat yourself to a Pan Seared Scottish Sea Scallop, accompanied by Indian Spiced Homemade Piccalilli Purée, Sweet ‘n’ Sour Raisins and Toasted Onions.
For our marvellous mains, be prepared for a taste sensation as you enjoy dishes such as our Rosemary Roasted Breast of Nidderdale Chicken, joined by Jerusalem Artichoke, Bar-B-Q’d Kale and Crispy Skin. In the mood for a steak? We’ve got you covered. Enjoy mouth-watering bites of a juicy Chargrilled 10oz Salt-Aged Yorkshire Reared Sirloin served with a Little Beer Pickled Onion & Yorkshire Blue Salad as well as Skinny Fries.
Finally, and to satisfy that sweet tooth, order one of our decadent desserts. Our luxury puds include a dreamy slice of Ginger Parkin Cheesecake, a heavenly ‘CLO’ Coffee Tiramisu Choux Bun and an incredible Date & Fig Sticky Toffee Pudding served with Butterscotch Sauce and Whitby Rum ‘n’ Raisin Ice Cream.

The Star Inn The City is a child friendly restaurant and we’ve got a sparkling starlets menu that’s guaranteed to satisfy even the pickiest of little eaters.
Children can opt from delicious mains including Toad-in-the-Hole with Yorkshire Pudding, Gravy, and Garden Peas, Chicken Goujons with Skinny Fries, Green Peas or Salad or even a scrumptious Baked Macaroni with Wensleydale cheese & Herb Crust (veggie options are also available).
If the little ones have been extra well behaved, we even offer children’s desserts including a luscious Lemonade Float with Strawberry ice cream or a tasty Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice cream.
