“A fantastic experience at Star In The City for my wife’s birthday. Service on point and the food was the best I’ve eaten for some time! Love that the menu features game which was cooked to perfection. Even the butter that accompanied the sour dough shone out with a very distinctive flavour. “What I love most about this place is that they constantly change things on the menu but everything is so good. It really is a dilemma to choose the best thing!  We ate Sunday roast here – amazing Yorkshire pudding, high quality meat and beautifully cooked vegetables (including crispy roast potatoes). “Must eat here at least once in your lifetime. It was an amazing dinner at the Star Inn. We had the lamb fritters for starters, chicken breast with an amazing sauce, lamp rump and that amazing blood orange cheesecake for dessert. Everything was so good, that it still makes my mouth water! We were lucky to have Jamie for service and that made it even nicer evening for us. It was his recommendation to go for the blood orange cheesecake and we are so glad that we went for it.
