The Starlets’ Menu
Combing balanced, fresh ingredients with the exciting flavours of the North Yorkshire countryside, The Star Inn The City’s expert chefs have crafted a scrumptious kids menu that’s guaranteed to satisfy even the pickiest of pallets.
Our Starlets’ menu, which has been designed for kids under 10, draws inspiration from the core ingredients used in our famous All Day Menu. For starters you’ll find a crispy homemade Yorkshire pudding served with root vegetable gravy oak and we also proudly serve a delicious smoked salmon with brown bread, butter & lemon as well as healthy vegetable crudites accompanied with fresh cream cheese.
Moving on to our moreish child-friendly mains, little ones can opt for tender chicken goujons with skinny fries, green peas or salad or why not encourage them to try a yummy baked macaroni with Wensleydale cheese & herb crust? In a nod to our God’s Own Country roots, we also serve up a tasty sprog-sized Toad-in-the-Hole complete with lashes of rich gravy and garden peas.
Finally, and if the little ones have been extra well behaved, why not treat them to a scrumptious pudding? The desserts on our Starlets’ menu include an exciting lemonade float with strawberry ice cream, a divine chocolate brownie served with vanilla Ice cream, whilst ice cream on its own and a range of sorbets are also available.
