York Remembrance Sunday Parade & Service
On Sunday 13th November at 11am, the York Branch of the British Legion, together with other ex-Service organisations, will gather for a poignant annual Service of Remembrance in the City Memorial Gardens.
Along with the military, ex-Service personnel numbering approximately 150 will march through the centre of York supported by some 15 Legion and other Regimental standards.
Hundreds of well-wishers are expected to line the streets to pay their respects as they remember the Armed Forces and emergency services from Britain and the Commonwealth who have lost their lives because of conflict.
For more information about the event please visit the British Legion website here.
