That’s why we’ve crafted a dedicated group menu to take the pressure off organisers, offering a simple yet elegant solution for large parties. Perfect for groups of six or more, our group menus ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless dining experience, with a delicious range of carefully prepared dishes that showcase the best of seasonal ingredients.
Autumn Group Menu
Available from 2nd October to 30th November, our Autumn group menu offers a delightful three-course dining experience, complete with a glass of fizz on arrival to set the tone for a special occasion. This menu showcases the best of seasonal British ingredients, with a particular focus on produce sourced from the local Yorkshire region.
The Autumn menu features a thoughtfully selected range of starters, mains, and desserts, catering to various tastes and dietary requirements. From hearty, warming dishes that reflect the season to lighter options for those with different preferences, this menu ensures that every member of your party will find something to enjoy.

Festive Group Menu
As the holiday season approaches, we’re delighted to offer our Festive group menu, available from December 1st-24th. This special menu is perfect for Christmas parties, end-of-year celebrations, or any gathering that calls for a touch of holiday cheer.
The Festive menu includes three sumptuous courses and begins with a glass of champagne on arrival, immediately setting a celebratory tone for your event. Our chefs have crafted a selection of dishes that capture the essence of the festive season, using traditional flavours and ingredients in innovative ways.
For starters, guests can indulge in dishes like our Whipped Yorkshire Wolds Chicken Liver & Sherry Parfait, served with Cranberry & Clementine Chutney, Gingerbread Crumb, and Warm Tin Loaf. This dish perfectly balances rich, creamy textures with the bright, festive flavours of citrus and spice.
Main course options include the traditional favourite of Butter Roast Turkey, complete with all the trimmings such as pigs in blankets, garden sage ‘n’ onion stuffing, braised potato fondant, honey-roasted root vegetables, and a cranberry & sage gravy. For those seeking something a bit different, the Chargrilled 10oz Sirloin (available at a small supplement) comes with a delightful Little Mulled Wine Pickled Onion & Yorkshire Blue Salad and skinny fries, offering a contemporary twist on classic flavours.
To round off the meal, our festive group dessert selection includes the comforting Mulled Pear & Winter Berry Crumble with Fruit ‘n’ Nut Granola and Cinnamon Custard, a perfect ending to a Christmas feast.
Elegant Private Dining Spaces for Memorable Occasions
In addition to our mouthwatering menu options, we are delighted to offer a superb range of private dining spaces, ideal for events or large parties that value a little bit of privacy without compromising on our renowned atmosphere or quality of service.
The Garden Room provides a unique dining experience with stunning views of the River Ouse. This elegant space strikes a lovely balance between intimacy and openness, making it suitable for family celebrations, corporate meetings, or any occasion that deserves a special touch.
For smaller groups, the Garden Room accommodates up to 13 guests in a non-exclusive setting, allowing you to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of our restaurant while still having your own dedicated space. For larger gatherings, you can hire the room exclusively for parties of 14 to 26 guests.
We offer flexible seating arrangements in the Garden Room. For groups of up to 14, a round table creates an intimate, conversational atmosphere. For larger gatherings of up to 26, we can arrange two tables for a more dynamic social experience. Please note that access to the Garden Room requires descending two steps, and there’s a minimum spend of £1,000 (£1,500 in December) for private parties of fewer than 14 guests.
The Mezzanine Dining Room, located on the upper level, is a true jewel among our exclusive spaces. Available for hire from Sunday evenings through Friday, this room comfortably seats up to 34 guests, making it ideal for larger gatherings.
With brilliant flexibility in seating arrangements, we can tailor the space to suit your needs. Whether you prefer two long tables for a communal feel, four smaller tables for a more intimate setting, or a large table for up to 20 for a grand dining experience, we can accommodate your vision.
This versatile space is perfect for various events, including social gatherings, milestone celebrations, and corporate functions. Its elevated position offers a sense of exclusivity while still connecting guests to the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant below. To ensure your event runs smoothly, a dedicated server will be available throughout your time in the Mezzanine Dining Room, attending to every detail, from drink refills to dietary requirements, allowing you and your guests to fully enjoy the occasion.
Please note that the Mezzanine Dining Room does not have disabled access, and a minimum spend of £1,500 (£2,000 in December) applies for exclusive use.
